Andrea came to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour in his second year of university at Florence (Italy), his hometown. During his studies, he was an active member of the GBU (the Italian equivalent of UCCF) and he was really challenged in sharing Jesus with his colleagues. After his graduation, he spent one year as a relay worker with GBU and it was there that he saw the great need to train Christians to share the gospel biblically in the Italian context. When God opened the door for him to be trained in England (both as an apprentice at St Ebbe’s and as a student at Cornhill), he took it! His long-term plan is to return to Italy to serve Jesus full time there, especially among undergraduates working with the GBU. In his spare time, Andrea enjoys nature walks and spending time with friends – usually around a table eating good Italian food! Andrea’s main areas of responsibility are undergraduate ministry and helping out with Explorers.
