Seminar 1: Spiritual Warfare with Andrew Turnbull
We are in a spiritual battle, whether we’re aware of it or not. Andrew will give us intel on the devil and his schemes, but also deepen our confidence in God’s armour and Jesus’ power especially when we’re tempted or witnessing to others.
Seminar 2: Anger with Anthony Buckley, vicar of St Michael in the Northgate
Anger can be so destructive and yet Paul wrote, “In your anger do not sin.” How is that possible? Anthony will show us what our angry hearts reveal about us, how God can transform our anger and how we can relate to others in an angry world.
Seminar 3: Work with Suzanne Wilson-Higgins and Dennis Thompson
Our jobs are very important to us and fill our diaries, hearts and lives. Suzanne and Dennis will share their stories of how they came to biblical perspectives on work and will help us practically navigate how we can serve the Lord, whatever he has called us to.
Seminar 4: Forgiveness with Annabel Heywood
C. S. Lewis wrote, “Everyone says forgiveness is a lovely idea until they have something to forgive.” Annabel will outline the steps on the way of forgiveness and help us grasp that the freedom and hope forgiveness offers is worth the effort and cost involved.
