Women’s Bible Studies
Various Bible study groups meet each week during term time.
There are meetings on different days of the week, either in homes around town or centrally at the church. Crèches are available at some.
All women, whatever their age and stage in life, are welcome to join.
Please contact Lizzie Ling for more information, or if you would like to join a group.
Our Thursday morning brunches take place once a term and are an opportunity to explore the relationship of the Christian faith to real issues we face day-to-day. Everyone is very welcome – believers and non-believers alike. Creche is available.
Contact Lizzie Ling.
Meets occasionally on Friday evenings in the hope that women who work can come along. The aim is to relax together in a private home, share stories and pray and, as we do so, to encourage one another to grow more like Christ. A staggered start time allows flexibility and an early finish allows for an early night.
Time: arrive 7-7:45pm, finishing at 9pm.
Food: Sandwiches available for those who haven’t had supper. Puddings at the end of the evening. There is no charge.
Contact Lizzie Ling or see flyers in church for more details, including venue.
Thursday Afternoon Fellowship (TAF)
TAF meets from 2-3:30pm at the church most Thursday afternoons in term time. Newcomers are always very welcome.
We enjoy praying together, singing and listening to a talk from the Bible, and end with chatting over tea and biscuits.
TAF lunches, which are open to both men and women, are held on the first Thursday of every month (except January and over the summer) and on Thursday afternoons in August we host Summer Socials.
For more information about TAF, TAF lunches or Summer Socials, please contact the church office or on 01865 240438.
Sparklers is a weekly group run for children aged up to 4 and their mums/dads/grandparents/carers – from 10am to 12 noon on Wednesday during term time. Everyone is welcome.
The morning includes songs, a Bible story, craft and some great toys.
